Obote Emmanuel Nyanga is a seasoned Advocate of the High Court of Uganda and a passionate compliance consultant with a strong track record in advancing legal aid, institutional accountability, and access to justice. He currently serves as the Compliance Director at YOPE and is a founding member of the Grassroots Legal Alerts Centre, where he champions community-centred legal empowerment.

With years of hands-on experience in legal aid delivery, Obote has specialised in compliance frameworks, mediation, litigation, and community-based dispute resolution. He has played a key role in developing institutional reports, conducting legal research on access to justice and the rule of law, and crafting impactful policy briefs and position papers.

Known for his integrity, professionalism, and results-driven leadership, Obote also supports anti-corruption efforts, coordinates stakeholder engagement, and leads collaborative initiatives with institutions such as the Uganda Law Society, Justice Centres Uganda, and Law Development Centre. His commitment lies in increasing access to justice for vulnerable communities while promoting transparency, legal reform, and human rights in Uganda.
