Elvis Dubois is a co-founder of YOPE and has been its executive director for eight years. He previously served as the Uganda country director for Furaha Home of Hope, a Finnish-based organisation. In that role, he provided strategic leadership, technical guidance, and marketing expertise to enhance the operations and visibility of the children’s home in both Uganda and Finland.
For over eight years, Elvis has supported various non-governmental organisations by securing funding from USAID, UKAid, UNICEF, WFP, and UNHCR. He has helped these organisations establish effective communication strategies and improve their visibility within and beyond their areas of implementation.
Elvis is also an alumnus of the UNHCR Youth Advisory Committee and was a youth facilitator at the UNHCR consultation with NGOs in Geneva in 2016, where he delivered an impactful presentation on “How to Build
