Why we need volunteers?
Help us fund volunteers who we may require but cannot afford to have in the organisation with the necessary skills, experience or expertise needed to handle issues in the organisation!
We face Unique Challenges and benefit from Volunteer Contributions:
With limited resources the Organisation operates under a tight budget, volunteers can provide essential labour, reducing costs and allowing the organization to allocate funds to direct services and programs.
With a language barrier local dialect volunteers can help bridge communication gaps and ensure that victims and at-risk individuals receive the support they need.
With technical expertise to help in areas like cybersecurity, data analysis, and online investigation. Volunteers with these skills can provide invaluable support, which is especially important as the perpetrators of these crimes are often very tech-savvy.
With victim Support expertise, volunteers can bring and provide emotional support, counselling, and practical assistance to survivors of online human trafficking and online cybersecurity.
With advocacy and lobbying with volunteers participating in advocacy efforts to influence policy and legislation related to online human trafficking including Volunteers helping communicate with, and educate local law enforcement.
With monitoring and reporting volunteers can help with monitoring online platforms for signs of trafficking activity and reporting such to the appropriate authorities.
Limited internet literacy can make people more vulnerable to online exploitation. Volunteers can help bridge this gap with poverty and economic hardship driving people into desperate situations, making them more susceptible to trafficking. Volunteers help provide alternative pathways and support.
