Brian Angoda Nyanga is a software engineer with 8 years of experience developing solutions in medical, financial, gaming, data engineering, embedded systems, and mobile applications. He holds a Diploma in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from Uganda Technical College, Lira, and recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Makerere University.
Brian is the Chief Software Engineer at Malaika Doctors Limited, where he leads the development of digital platforms connecting patients and doctors. He also collaborates with Jakisa ICT to design inventory management and tracking systems.
At Makerere University, he contributed to embedded systems research, building projects to monitor indoor air quality and post-harvest cereal conditions. He also developed an educational Android game called “AfriSafe Run (available on Google Play Store), promoting Sexually Transmitted Infections awareness and United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3. Additionally, he co-authored the open-access dataset “Maternal Online Health Technology (MOTHER)” under Professor Tonny J. Oyana, published by BioMed Central. Brian is passionate about creating impactful, data-driven digital solutions that address real-world challenges.
