Elvis Dubois is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Youth Organisation for People Empowerment, a role he has held for eight years. He previously served as Uganda Country Director for Furaha Home of Hope, a Finnish-based organisation, where he provided strategic leadership, technical support, and marketing expertise to strengthen operations and visibility in both Uganda and Finland.
Elvis has over eight years of experience supporting NGOs in securing funding from major donors, including USAID, UKAid, UNICEF, WFP, and UNHCR. He has led the development of communication strategies that improved visibility and impact across project areas.
A former member of the UNHCR Youth Advisory Committee, he also served as a youth facilitator at the 2016 UNHCR NGO consultations in Geneva, where he presented on the topic of refugee youth self-reliance and resilience. He has coordinated over fifty joint monitoring and evaluation visits, fostering collaboration between NGOs, local communities, and government stakeholders.
