Plem Kijamba holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Development and Political Science from McGill University. He has extensive experience in research consultancy, specialising in Black entrepreneurship, social inclusion, and refugee governance in Canada. Plem has conducted fieldwork across Uganda, Kenya, and Jordan, focusing on refugee economies, land privatisation, shifts in agricultural practices, and youth employment.
Skilled in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, including ethnography, he applies a global and intersectional perspective to development issues. Plem is dedicated to advancing social justice through rigorous, evidence-based policy research that addresses complex social and economic challenges.
